Autumn Is Coming to Astra & Arrow

Autumn Is Coming to Astra & Arrow

I have a confession: I love immersive environments.

Disneyland is basically a dream come true to me, or escape rooms that are way over the top. Give me music, lighting, tiny details, a story happening around me, and I am completely in.

Haunted houses, though? Absolutely not.

They feel way too real to me, and my nervous system is not interested in participating. 😂

But I am very much a spooky vibe girly.

And that became the inspiration for this year’s Autumn Collection.

There are also some pretty big changes happening behind the scenes right now. Our landlord sold our apartment building, so we have to be out by the end of August. We also adopted the most perfect four-year-old shelter pup, and naturally, we decided to rent him a house with a yard.

The house happens to have a basement, which means Astra & Arrow production is officially moving literally in-house.

So while I’m packing up two spaces we’ve occupied since 2019 and 2020, painting walls back to white, moving candle supplies, and trying to figure out where years' worth of stuff came from, I’m also dreaming up an entirely new world for fall.

Because if production is becoming more behind-the-scenes, creating an immersive experience around the products feels even more important to me.

Scent tells a story.

Fragrance is closely connected to emotion and memory, which is part of why a smell can transport you somewhere before you even have time to think about it.

And that’s exactly what I wanted this collection to do.

For Autumn 2026, I kept seeing two worlds come together in my mind:

dark academia and café.

The images came to me almost like a dream.

I even have a couple cafés in mind where I’d love to do a mini shoot with the candles, so we’ll see if your mani-gen ADHD friend can get all her ducks in a row while simultaneously moving out of two spaces.

No promises. 😂

But the world I kept imagining is going to be in the next blog post.
